It’s Monday morning which means that I’m at my Radiology internship. I’m here, but nobody else is, namely my supervisor. I don’t know why I’m dragging my ass up here in the morning if she’s not going to be here either. I’m going to retaliate by wasting time on blogs. I wonder what the protocol is for leaving early…
It seems that my building flooded and severely damaged the electrical equipment, meaning that the entire place is now a dark, kind of funky smelling, elevator-less, ghost-dorm. Repairs may or may not be completed by Wednesday. Meanwhile, we must sign in the lobby wherein we are allowed thirty minutes to get things from our rooms. This half hour slot includes the time I have to trek up to the 7th floor in the dark. It’s actually kind of scary with the strange sounds of the fans and faint evacuation alarms beeping, strange smells and shadows floating around.
I guess I’ll have to kick it at Kenny’s place. I know I spend pretty much all my free time there anyway, but it’s different now because I don’t have anywhere else to go. There’s no room for me to work there. It’s fine for sleeping and hanging out, but I need some serious space if I’m going to study, which is not something there is a lot of at his apartment.
I’m pissed off at Overstock or UPS or somebody because I ordered some things from Overstock and I don’t know why, but they shipped them all separately and now I only have one out of the four things I ordered. The tracking numbers say they were delivered, but nobody got anything, so what am I supposed to do. Not to mention I need these things for class. I also specifically called my mom to ask permission to use her credit card for the purchases since they were for school. While she agreed, she also took the money out of my allowance, so I might as well have bought them myself.
